One-on-one prep often works best for students who don't need to prep for all areas of the SAT or the ACT, or who don't have time for a 30-hour prep course. We offer private one-on-one tutorials. The advantage to a private tutorial is that the tutor watches the student's every move, and it doesn't take long to spot what needs coaching. The tutor gets to know the student quickly and creates a specific study program for him or her. Homework is issued based on the student's needs and capabilities. Students in this setting tend to be more candid about the material that eludes them. More and more students are taking our complete SAT course and then supporting specific areas with one-on-one tutoring. There's no getting around the value of prepping for the SATs. Once students recognize what they're looking at, and know what to do, their scores go up.
